A Singaporean man recently logged a plate of economic rice with two vegetables and one meat into the Healthy 365 app and discovered it contained 2,125mg of sodium, already above the recommended daily limit of 2,000mg. And he’s not alone: a new national survey found that 95% of Singaporeans are exceeding the daily sodium limit, while average sodium intake has climbed to 4,000mg a day.
