The Monetary Authority of Singapore will contribute to a $5 million Asia climate solutions grant -
This is part of a push to move closer to net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.
The grant will be hosted by a global network for blended finance.
The funding was announced at the inaugural Transition Finance Towards Net Zero Conference.
The Monetary Authority of Singapore, together with knowledge partners McKinsey & Company and Convergence Blended Finance, hosted the event which sought to bring together key public and private sector stakeholders to mobilise capital at scale to help economies and corporates decarbonise.
