History has been made! For the very first time, a South African school participated in the renowned World Schools Netball Cup - and they didn’t just show up… they triumphed.

After an unbeaten season back home, the incredible Redhill U17 netball team journeyed to Loughborough, England, and demonstrated to the world what South African excellence truly means.

Facing off against elite teams from four continents, they played with passion, determination, and unmatched teamwork to claim the title of 2025 U17 World Schools Netball Cup Champions. Held at Loughborough University – the heart of English netball – the event gathered 46 teams from 29 schools around the globe. And Redhill made history, showcasing that South African school sports deserve a place on the international stage. You’ve made your school, your province, and your country proud.
