She also leads a multi-state biosecurity ag research project. She gives us tips on what to watch out for, beginning with your cropland. She says if you see any of the "5Ds," call an agronomist, extension agent or plant diagnostic lab and get help. If you see any of the "BUDDIES" signs, call a vet early so that you don’t miss a foreign animal disease and have it spread to other farms.
