Prakash Karat, who vehemently opposed the Congress alliance, has seemingly had a change of heart.  There's a lack of support in Delhi for Pinarayi Vijayan's argument that an understanding with Congress will harm Kerala.  It's being heard that he told some people during the party congress that allying with Congress is now the wisest course of action.
