Diwali / Deepavali is characterised by the lighting of lamps, song and dance and lots of delicious food. But it's the fireworks that spark the most controversy- as many KZN residents object to the use of fireworks in their neighbourhoods. It has become increasingly common to note intolerant posts on social media during this time.
