Diwali / Deepavali is characterised by the lighting of lamps, song and dance and lots of delicious food. But it's the fireworks that spark the most controversy- as many KZN residents object to the use of fireworks in their neighbourhoods. It has become increasingly common to note intolerant posts on social media during this time. Premier Ntuli says that the province belongs to all who live in it- and everybody should be respected for their religious views...
