By Newsbreak Executive Producer Salma Patel - President Cyril Ramaphosa has paid tribute to liberation struggle stalwart Shantavothie "Shanthie" Naidoo Tweedie, who has died at the age of 91. The President described Naidoo-Tweedie as a fearless freedom fighter who endured detention, solitary confinement, banning orders and imprisonment for her unwavering commitment to the anti-apartheid struggle. She later lived in exile in the United Kingdom after years of activism in South Africa and Tanzania. Former journalist and Author of "Women in Solitary - Inside the Female Resistance to Apartheid", Shantini Naidoo, says Shanthie's legacy of ethical and moral behaviour needs to be remembered...
