By Newsbreak Producer Tracy Valaydham - Humanitarian aid organisation, the Gift of the Givers Foundation says more than 80 undocumented Malawian migrants remain at the decommissioned repatriation centre at the old Durban Drive-In site. The foundation says the women and children have been accommodated at a local shelter, while the men remain at the site awaiting transport to the Musina Repatriation Centre in Limpopo for processing and repatriation. Over the weekend, Gift of the Givers assisted over 107 undocumented migrants with transport to Musina, where they are being processed by immigration authorities. Many of those still at the Drive-in site were allegedly displaced by recent xenophobic attacks in Durban and Pietermaritzburg and continue to depend on humanitarian assistance.
