By Newsbreak Producer Hoosen Ebrahim - Sanparks has officially announced its 21st annual National Parks Week, running from the 7th to the 13th of September 2026. The nationwide campaign grants local day visitor's free conservation access to a wide selection of the country's premier protected areas. Management note that while most reserves will waive entry fees across the entire week, high-traffic destinations like Kruger, West Coast and Augrabies Falls will restrict free access to weekdays only. Citizens must present a valid South African identity document at park gates to qualify for the promotion.
