Meditation - Using The Spine To Guide Your Breath

Simply put, we cannot live without our spine. The spine has been used as a reference point to navigate our energy centers or chakras, whereby each chakra associates with a different set of organs in our body that are vital for our overall health.

This meditation does not focus on the chakras, but rather on the curve of our spine to heighten attention. By tracing our breath along the spine, not only do we feel a more intimate connection with our breath, but we also nourish our spine energetically with this visualisation. Lengthening and opening the spine on the inhalation, and relaxing all of our muscles on the exhalation.
