If you've attended a yoga class, your teacher probably guided you through a nadi shodhana pranayama, where you use your fingers to block one nostril to isolate breath flow.The benefits are magnificent! Alternate nostril breathing can bring better balance to your nervous system and less stress response and activity over time. It also lowers blood pressure.
But it's just as potent and powerful to visualise the breath traveling up and down each nostril if you're not in a class setting. Let me know how you enjoyed this!
