Dr Mumtaaz “Taz” Emeran is a medical doctor, entrepreneur and healthcare advocate passionate about making quality healthcare more affordable, accessible and dignified.
She is the Founder and CEO of Khaya-Doc, a health-tech platform built for Africa that connects people with independent healthcare providers while working to make healthcare services more affordable.
Khaya-Doc aims to reduce healthcare costs by up to 50% compared to traditional rates, use technology to bring quality healthcare closer to communities, and create meaningful employment opportunities for healthcare professionals.
Her work is rooted in the belief that healthcare should not only treat illness, but should empower people and restore dignity.
