Natasha Harris, the founder of Pink Dahlia is a wellness brand and community built around helping people live healthier, more balanced lives.

Natasha spent 20 years working in retail, while trying to juggle her career, family life and her own wellbeing. Like many of us, the demands of everyday life came with stress, anxiety and unhealthy lifestyle habits.

But instead of simply accepting that as her reality, Natasha decided to make a change.

In June 2025, she took that leap of faith and started Pink Dahlia — which has grown into an online health shop, mobile health bar and community centred around wellness.

For the past seven years, she has also been involved with the V&A Waterfront Buskers Programme as an Artist Development Partner, supporting performers and helping create platforms where artists can grow and be seen. Her commitment to creating meaningful opportunities extends beyond the creative industry too, including her support of the Yabonga Children’s Project.

Now, through I AM READY, Raisa is creating a dedicated space for women who are ready to start, restart or grow — whether that means building a business, developing a personal brand, finding new opportunities or simply getting the support and confidence they need to take their next step.

August is Breastfeeding Awareness Month, making it a great opportunity to have an open and informative conversation about breastfeeding, the support mothers need, and some of the challenges they may experience along the way.

While breastfeeding is natural, that doesn’t always mean it comes naturally or easily to every mother. There can be questions around milk supply, latching, feeding schedules, nutrition and simply knowing whether you’re doing things right.
