The acclaimed Camissa Heritage Tour, produced, directed and choreographed by Luke De Kock, features an intergenerational cast from communities across the Western Cape. This year the programme focuses on the World Premiere of WAT WAS HIE?, a site-specific film that retraces the entangled histories of colonialism, Indigenous erasure, and resistance in South Africa. He, along with Courtney Smith (a dancer in the show), sits down with Leigh-Anne Williams to chat about the show and what it means to be premiering it during Heritage Month.
