The blue wave in last night’s election just seemed to get DEEPER BLUE when it reached the Golden State, something echoed in the victory speech by California’s governor elect Xavier Becerra.

California saw at least three House seats flip, including one in the North Bay, where Democrat Mike McGuire defeated Republican Congressman James Gallagher. And Proposition 40, the one-time wealth tax targeted at the state’s billionaires, looks headed for defeat.
