In the first vote in Parliament’s House of Commons, members voted 415 to 47 in favor of the bill, which currently sits in the Commons committee stage and is set to be voted on again in the House of Commons later this month. More than 1,000 Fresno high-school students walked out of their campuses on Monday to protest ICE and President Trump’s deportation crackdown. Approximately 200 students from Kerman High School staged a walkout Monday morning to protest ICE raids. 

Bundy discussed the Pretti shooting in an interview with The Atlantic, saying, "It's sickening to me, just to see the parallels of history repeating itself." He added, "When it comes to the more humanitarian side of it, I think the left has it much more correct than the nationalist right."
