Central Valley Honor Flight recognizes American Veterans for their sacrifices and achievements by sending them to Washington D.C. to visit their memorial at no cost. Top priority is given to WWII and terminally ill veterans from all wars. Honor Flight is now expanding to include Korean and then Vietnam Veterans. Nestlé says nearly 414,000 KitKat candy bars — about 12 tons — were stolen while being transported from a production site in Italy to Poland. The company reported that the truck and its cargo have not been recovered, and the chocolate was meant for distribution across Europe.

Deputies say disturbing evidence was found inside an Oakhurst vacation rental after owner Christian Parmalee Edwards was arrested for secretly filming guests, including women and at least one child. Investigators seized over 4,000 files of child sexual abuse material and multiple devices, and say Edwards filmed guests through blinds and from inside the home. 

The loss of small perks and rise of AI have conspired to strip work of all fun; ‘It feels like a funeral in the office right now.’

Judge Dismisses Musk’s Advertisers Lawsuit

Newly purchased Vizio smart TVs now require a Walmart account to access streaming apps and other smart features, following Walmart’s 2024 acquisition of the TV maker.  Now, Walmart plans to roll out digital price tags to every U.S. store by the end of 2026, replacing traditional paper labels with electronic shelf displays that can be updated instantly. 

A U.S. judge has dismissed X Corp.’s antitrust lawsuit accusing major advertisers of illegally boycotting Elon Musk’s social media platform, formerly known as Twitter. U.S. District Judge Jane Boyle ruled that X failed to show it suffered harm under federal antitrust law and said the alleged coordination among advertisers did not amount to an illegal conspiracy, dismissing the case with prejudice.

Activists Charged For Taking Goats Dairy

Hidden beneath the streets of Fresno, the Forestiere Underground Gardens are one of California’s most unusual attractions — an underground orchard and living space hand‑carved over 40 years by Sicilian immigrant Baldassare Forestiere. 

Kings County has terminated its fire protection contract with the city of Avenal after city officials moved forward with a community boxing event inside a still‑under‑construction community center, despite warnings from the county fire chief that the building was unsafe. 

Members of an animal rights activist group are facing up to six and a half years in prison for “rescuing” two baby goats from a Kings County dairy. The activists, who are part of Direct Action Everywhere, say they were rescuing a pair of baby goats that they allege were in immediate need of medical attention. Law enforcement and the Kings County District Attorney’s Office see the four activists’ actions as criminal.
