President Donald J. Trump praised farmers for their hard work and contributions to the economy in a video message played at the World AG Expo opening day ceremony Tuesday in Tulare. 

The sudden and surprising airspace closure over El Paso, Texas, on Wednesday stemmed from the Pentagon's plans to test a laser for use in shooting down drones used by Mexican drug cartels, according to three people familiar with the situation who were granted anonymity to share sensitive details.

The indictment, pursued by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, led by Trump appointee Jeanine Pirro, is the latest example of the Justice Department’s targeting the president's perceived political opponents.
