The Army is granting more direct commissions to civilians in high-tech fields like cyber, artificial intelligence, and space. The plan to put these new soldiers in uniform is an expansion of a program that directly commissioned four Silicon Valley executives into the Army Reserve as lieutenant colonels last June. 

Based on 2024 U.S. Census data, the most recent available, the analysis shows that full-time workers ages 22 to 27 who majored in theology, performing arts, social services and education report some of the lowest median earnings early in their careers.

Kiley said he didn’t view his move as a falling out with the Republican Party, but as a show of “frustration with partisanship itself.” 

Iran sent out a possible “operational trigger” to activate “sleeper assets” abroad after the war with America and Israel began, according to an encrypted message intercepted by the US. The coded signal was sent out following the death of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei on Feb. 28, with the message appearing to hold instructions for “covert operatives or sleeper assets.” 

The aircraft spent nearly two hours making mock landings at the Fresno Yosemite International Airport, according to observers. The plane was identified as a Boeing E-6B Mercury, often referred to as a “Doomsday Plane.”

A newly-surfaced document published in the DOJ's Epstein database reveals that an inmate once told the FBI that he overheard prison guards talking about covering up Epstein's death on the morning the sex offender died. 

Kiley said he didn’t view his move as a falling out with the Republican Party, but as a show of “frustration with partisanship itself.” He said that if he wanted to forge an easier political path he would have run in a safe Republican district. But he said he preferred to continue representing his hometown of Rocklin.
