The Supreme Court dealt President Trump a major setback Friday, striking down most of his global tariffs, one of the key pillars of his second‑term economic agenda. In a 6–3 ruling written by Chief Justice John Roberts, the court said the International Emergency Economic Powers Act does not give Trump the authority to impose those tariffs on his own.
President Trump says he’s ordering federal agencies to release files on “alien and extraterrestrial life,” following recent comments from Barack Obama, who joked the odds of life out there are good but insisted he saw no evidence of aliens while in office.
