The agency has launched a public inquiry into whether exclusive streaming deals are hurting consumers and undermining free, over‑the‑air access with some fans now paying thousands a year amid a fragmented sports media landscape. 

Parents will receive notifications if a child has used the platform repeatedly to search for terms related to suicide or self-harm, but users must opt in to get them.
