Talent agents are seeking out the internet’s erudite elite, promising marketers access to niche and engaged audiences far from the blast of social media. 

Thousands of authors including Kazuo Ishiguro, Philippa Gregory and Richard Osman have published an “empty” book to protest against AI firms using their work without permission. About 10,000 writers have contributed to Don’t Steal This Book, in which the only content is a list of their names.

A new video circulating online appears to show campaign workers gathering signatures for a ballot initiative by offering people $5 to sign. At one point in the video, the worker tells someone to sign using another person's name and information. 

Fans who fought through the frustration of purchasing tickets for Metallica‘s upcoming 24-date Life Burns Faster residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas should consider themselves lucky. As it stands, the band does not plan on adding more shows to this particular run of concerts.
