French prosecutors raided the offices of social media platform X on Tuesday as part of a preliminary investigation into allegations that include spreading child sexual abuse images and deepfakes. They have also summoned billionaire owner Elon Musk for questioning. 

Since the last major update for Windows 11 in January, problems have been piling up. Among other issues, some users were no longer able to shut down their PCs properly or put them into hibernation mode.

In the first vote in Parliament’s House of Commons, members voted 415 to 47 in favor of the bill, which currently sits in the Commons committee stage and is set to be voted on again in the House of Commons later this month.
