Tuesday, Fresno County students stepped out of the classroom and into the streets, once again protesting ICE activity across the country. It comes just days after the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools shared a letter requesting an end to off-campus school walkouts. The request was signed by 10 districts, including Fresno, Clovis and Central Unified.

A new independent forensic report is once again challenging the long-standing ruling that Kurt Cobain died by suicide. Researchers are now urging authorities in Seattle to reopen the case nearly three decades on. 

An Anthropic safety researcher quit, saying the “world is in peril” in part over AI advances. Mrinank Sharma said the safety team “constantly [faces] pressures to set aside what matters most,” citing concerns about bioterrorism and other risks.
