A new report by YourCentralValley.com sheds light on where Fresno's controversial Flock Safety Automated License Plate Recognition (ALPR) cameras may be located, though the City of Fresno still refuses to release exact locations to the public. 

The controversy stems from earlier reporting by 404 Media that Texas law enforcement used Flock's surveillance system while investigating a woman who had allegedly self-administered an abortion. That reporting drew national attention because of concerns that license plate reader networks could be used to monitor people seeking reproductive healthcare.

A startup called Operation Bluebird has officially launched a new social media platform, Twitter.now, arguing that Elon Musk's rebranding of Twitter to X effectively abandoned the Twitter name, logo, and related trademarks. 

A German artist and designer, Simon Weckert, has created a brightly colored, intentionally ugly shirt designed to make the wearer difficult for certain AI-powered surveillance systems to recognize as a person. The project, called Digital Camouflage, is meant as both a technical experiment and a commentary on the growing use of AI surveillance.
