East Tennessee Children’s Hospital is officially changing it's name to Dolly Parton Children's Hospital. The announcement was made via a video on the hospital's website on Thursday.

Georgia police are urging parents to double‑check their kids’ lunch boxes after a student accidentally showed up to school with a canned lemon martini instead of a juice pouch. South Fulton Police shared a photo of the Cutwater cocktail, 11% alcohol, joking, “That is NOT Apple Juice,” while reminding families that morning mix‑ups can happen but alcohol doesn’t belong next to a Lunchable.

Animal advocates took to the podium at Tuesday's Board of Supervisors meeting to oppose the proposed ordinance banning feeding stray animals in public parks and county buildings.

The FCC is targeting soaring NFL and sports streaming costs, warning that fans are being forced to juggle multiple paid platforms just to watch their teams. The agency has launched a public inquiry into whether exclusive streaming deals are hurting consumers and undermining free, over‑the‑air access with some fans now paying thousands a year amid a fragmented sports media landscape. 

Parents will receive notifications if a child has used the platform repeatedly to search for terms related to suicide or self-harm, but users must opt in to get them.
