Tax Talk Tuesday—Tim Ness—Tax and Bookkeeping. Yes we took calls and perhaps got the longest call in segment with the most questions as well.

Yes we are approaching the serious tax season. If you aren’t having a tax check with Mr. Ness---you should be planning ahead –whether this was a year you got married----or some other ceremony.

This is still the only It’s YOUR Business Show that regularly takes calls from listeners. And we heard from a Senior Citizen---and from a second caller---who asked a lot of questions about giving money to off-springs---and whether or not the money was would be taxable. In addition I counted 6 or so other questions the gentleman asked---which is the most I’ve seen posed to Mr. Ness in any show.

But that is what this show is all about----questions---you can ask Tim---voted Sioux Falls Best Tax and Bookkeeping service –getting close to 20 years in a row.

We did find out when the “Tax Season” preparation time will change. Mr. Ness shared looks like mid-January----and if my numbers are correct 8-8 Monday-Friday, 8-3 on Saturday, and 12-5 on Sunday.

IRS is still warning taxpayers of charity scams---and the BBB is warning resident to be-ware of charity scams---

Most agree if you or someone in your office or home is getting a call—you can easily tell there is a scam that has or is about to be played.

Still at play ---until at least the time there is a change in the Big White House—whistle blowers are being rewarded for telling on someone else.

Each tax season---Mr. Ness puts together quite the educated staff to handle tax preparation.

Bookkeeping in recent years has been beefed up---more in more businesses—whether new—just changed or wanting help---are seeking the work of Ness Tax and Bookkeeping. We have been following along for a long time.

Ness Tax also helped people in the other 40 or so states that have the need to prepare—State Taxes. He has shared with us in the past-that they do a lot for his old home state of Minnesota---as well as states—people have moved to South Dakota –and need help with State Taxes where they came from.

In the November Ness Tax Show we talked about with the November 5th election we could be in for a Tax Armageddon. We did talk about the change in the White House what it would mean---and by the time we talk on January 7th ----or so----a new administration will say they do. We’ll be watching that closely.
