In our Monday show---Dave Kelly –Fairway Mortgage explained the concerns that we have on interest rates---housing in general---what to do---in essence “buy now”---“finance later”.
But get advise from the experts----to make the best decision with the volatile market place.
The real estate numbers should be out by Friday or Monday---letting us look at Sioux Falls—the Sioux Falls Metro ---and 10 other communities. When we have those figures we will share the “Report Card Show”.
We talked this morning with Sylvia Wolters----who will be bringing the expecting pigs and cows and a lot of eggs that will hatch as well. We’ll talk with her on our live show from the Fairgrounds on Monday-----and on Ag Appreciation Day on Wednesday.
For Sylvia—she makes the rounds with a dozen or so stops ---that lets the birthing process being witnessed by children of all ages. Pigs-cows—and yes eggs.
Jim Woster---yes Mr. Agriculture joined us this morning----he’s been leading the band for years as a farm broadcasters-----ag leader---and just a guy that makes such a difference to be around.
He shared his stories this morning on the stockyards---TV—newspaper---and true leader and not a bad singer.
Jim will join Mayor Paul Ten Haken, Lt Governor Larry Rhoden, and Darren Hefty—on my panel next Wednesday---on Ag Appreciation Day at 10:00AM. The discussion is about thanking agriculture---but discussing where we are---what they are doing for us--- yesterday, today, tomorrow and beyond.
It’s a big night not only in Sioux Falls—but nation wide---it is the Annual National Night Out Event. 22 locations have been selected in Sioux Falls—there needs to be a few more on the west side of this City with 210 or is it 220,000 people
Police Chief Jonathon Thum---gave the invite to the public to come out—mix—meet your neighbors and you might find a lot in common.
It may be done every year---but at a time that Law Enforcement in many communities—including Fargo are almost under-siege --- the least we can do –is mix-match-and find many ways to make a difference in your community.
The Chief mentioned 15 officers or so were just being added---and in future shows—once a month we’ll find ways to get to know them----and do our part as well.
