Before our show this morning—I was able to attend the Sioux Falls Prayer Breakfast-----the guest speaker---is a heavy-weight---

   Rear Admiral Barry Black (retired) was elected the 62nd Chaplain of the Senate and began work on July 7th 20023---before that he served 27 years in the US Navy—and ended his DISTINGUISED career as the Chief of Navy Chaplains---

  He has authored 6 books beginning with his autobiography---“From the Hood to the HILL (2006), The Blessing of Adversity (2011), Nothing to Fear (2017), Make your VOICE HEARD in Heaven (2018), and Bible Wisdom for the Better Living (2019----))and yes—4 years ago—a Prayer for our Country (words to Unite and Inspire hope (2022)

With his wife formerly Brenda Persall—they have 3 sons –yes Barry and Brenda have Barry 11. Brendan and Bradford—he ended his work as the 62nd Chaplain of the Senate—
