Since 1984, Laurie Edwards-Tate has been the President, Founder and CEO of both a non-profit, and currently for-profit non-medical Home Care Aid Organization called At Your Home Familycare. It is a State of CA Department of Social Services Licensed Home Care Organization that currently serves seniors, disabled, infirm, and children and holds contracts with a variety of governmental and non-profit community partners. They are funded 50% by private duty and private pay services.

 

Laurie holds a Master’s of Science in Human Resource Management and Organizational Development from Chapman University and a Life Credentialed Community College Instructor. She established a Home Care Aide Training Program at Cal State University College of Extended Studies. Laurie is also a founding member of Chapman University’s local Advisory Council.

Theresa Diamond was born and raised in the South Bronx in New York City. She attended public school and graduated from John Jay College of Criminal Justice with a B.S. in Criminal Justice Administration & Planning. She went on to gain employment in every arm of the justice system available to her. After over 25 years away from academia, she returned to school and obtained her master’s degree in Community Counseling and completed the first year of her PhD.

 

She has had held the following positions: Civil Investigator, Criminal Defense Investigator, Investigator for the largest County Public Schools System in Atlanta, Integrated the Juvenile Probation Office in Washington State, Integrated The Civilian Police Department for the US Navy at Bangor Submarine Base, Court Bailiff, Clerk for Judge in Traffic Court, Owned & Operated Diamond Discoveries Defense Investigative Firm for Civil and Criminal cases. Mitigation Specialist, and Mitigation Specialist Supervisor.  She is a retired Mitigation Specialist Expert.

Dr. Michael Hersh is a Gastroenterologist, husband, father, podcaster, and physician coach at Better Physician Life Coaching.  He coaches physicians on creating work-life balance, goal setting, stress management, reducing overwhelm, and feeling more present at home and less annoyed at work.  His goal is to help physicians stop feeling trapped in medicine so that they can finally enjoy the life they worked so hard to build.  He also co-hosted a podcast called Doctors Living Deliberately, highlighting physicians changing medicine by learning to live life with intention and purpose.
