Biography
As a Physical Therapist and the Clinic Director at Longevity Physical Therapy, San Diego, I am humbled by the opportunity to serve both our community and my team.
I believe physical therapy is a team sport where the patient and practitioner work together to solve movement problems in order to achieve a common goal and ultimately improve quality of life. This is achieved by leveraging the tools that we have available in the realms of exercise, manual therapy, lifestyle change, and nutrition education with an emphasis on strong communication.
I was born and raised in Sacramento, but moved to sunny San Diego in order to earn my Bachelor of Science in Applied Health Sciences from Point Loma Nazarene University. I then completed my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California with an emphasis in orthopedic and vestibular rehabilitation, and have the distinction as a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the APTA.
In addition to treating patients at Longevity Physical Therapy, I am also an adjunct professor in the undergraduate kinesiology department at Point Loma Nazarene University. It has been a pleasure interacting with and instructing students at this stage in their development as they pursue professions in PT, OT, and medicine.
When I am not in the clinic, I love being outside, traveling, hiking, camping, and going to the beach with my beautiful wife and our dachshund, Winston.
