Gidon Bromberg is the cofounder and 25+ year Israel Director of EcoPeace Middle East. Gidon has written extensively on the relationship between water issues and Middle East peace and has presented before the UN Security Council, UN Climate Summit, US Congress, European Parliament and other international forums.

Gidon, an attorney by profession, is an alumnus of Monash University in Australia, Washington College of Law at American University and Yale University’s World Fellows program.

A report submitted to the UN Human Rights Council claims Israel has deliberately targeted Palestinian children in Gaza, declaring that "the essence of childhood has been destroyed."Many media outlets have repeated the allegations as fact; few have actually looked further into the details.

This week 'The Israel Connexion' was probing into a very prominent anti-Israel report in a way that hasn't been done by other media that have accepted it on face value because it has the imprimatur of the United Nations. Moreover, the amount of copious detail in the report has meant that the onus of doing a proper analysis of its content has been very daunting and so the response to it has largely been superficial.

I was moderating a rare discussion bringin together two opposing sides to consider the allegations against Israel by the Independent International Commission on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and Israel (COI).
