Chad is the founder of Accessibility in the City, an organisation that supports individuals with accessibility issues and assists them by providing a mapping and navigation tool.

His advocacy for accessibility and inclusion began in 2013 when he started to use a wheelchair to navigate his hometown of Newcastle. In doing this he found a number of physical barriers in the built environment limited his ability to move freely and experience the same events and work opportunities as others.

Chad’s latest project includes working with Transport for NSW on an COVID Safe return to Sydney’s CBD for people with disabilities partnering with community transport application PeepsRide.

When he isn’t trying to make the world a more accessible-friendly place he is the co-host of the Lunaticks LIVE online tech show and helps coordinate the regional digital innovators and creatives annual award.
