Modern-day New England is a region comprising six states in the Northeastern United States: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. English plans to colonize this part of America began to take concrete form at the turn of the 17th century. The first expedition to set out from England was led by Bartholomew Gosnold (1571-1607). Eric Yanis of The Other States of America podcast joins Mark Vinet in the telling of this fascinating story. Enjoy this ENCORE Presentation!
