Karson and Kyle from Rooted For Good were our Guest DJs today. We talked about a lot of great information including: 
RFG's End of Year fundraising campaign: we are half way to our goal of $30,000 raised by the end of the year. Folks can donate via links on our Facebook page or on our website, rootedforgood.org
A few recaps for the year: we fed over 30,000 DeKalb County neighbors with our food needs programs, taught over 3,000 elementary students in DeKalb school district 428, and reached the milestone of distributing over 2 million pounds of food since the organization was founded in 2012.
Rooted For Good will be closed for the holidays from December 25 through January 1. We will reopen on January 2.
For those in need of food, we will have a food distributions tomorrow in Genoa from 4:30-6:30 pm and University Village from 3-5 pm. Other food distributions happening before the holiday closure are Malta on 12/19 from 3:30-5 pm.
