Karson and Kyle from Rooted For Good were our Guest DJs today. We talked about a lot of great information including: 

• RFG's End of Year fundraising campaign: we are half way to our goal of $30,000 raised by the end of the year. Folks can donate via links on our Facebook page or on our website, rootedforgood.org
• A few recaps for the year: we fed over 30,000 DeKalb County neighbors with our food needs programs, taught over 3,000 elementary students in DeKalb school district 428, and reached the milestone of distributing over 2 million pounds of food since the organization was founded in 2012.
• Rooted For Good will be closed for the holidays from December 25 through January 1. We will reopen on January 2.
• For those in need of food, we will have a food distributions tomorrow in Genoa from 4:30-6:30 pm and University Village from 3-5 pm. Other food distributions happening before the holiday closure are Malta on 12/19 from 3:30-5 pm.
