The Legal Corner: BIPA's Ruling

Greg and Dan talk with Shawn Potts, Race Director and Promoter of the Peoria TT, about the 79th running of the world-famous Peoria TT, happening Saturday, August 22, at the Peoria Motorcycle Club. The historic race has been held since 1947 and brings Progressive American Flat Track racing to one of the sport’s most iconic courses, known for its unique layout and famous jump. Shawn previews what motorcycle fans can expect throughout race day, including practice, qualifying, fan activities, and the main events, while also covering what spectators can and cannot bring to the grounds. He also discusses the involvement of Walters Brothers Harley-Davidson and more surrounding this longtime Central Illinois motorcycle tradition.

Tickets are $30 in advance and can also be purchased on race day. Kids 12 and under get in free.

Greg and Dan talk with Aaron Wilson, Marshall County Chief Deputy Sheriff, and Patrick Patterson, Sergeant with the East Peoria Police Department, about remembering Bob Vester, who tragically passed away in April, and the upcoming Bob Vester Memorial Benefit on Saturday, August 29, from 7-10 p.m. at the Par-A-Dice Hotel. They reflect on who Bob was to them personally and professionally, the impact his loss has had on those who knew and worked alongside him, and the incredible support shown by the community in the months since his passing. They also preview the memorial benefit and how the evening will provide an opportunity for people to come together, remember Bob, and show their continued support.
