Greg Belfrage interviews Chief Jon Thum and communication officer Sargeant Aaron Benson. The officers gave a warning about the recent round of scams that are going around Sioux Falls.  One of the scams are scammers calling people claiming to be police.  They also talked about stolen cars and personal items being stolen from cars.  Springtime also brings out the street racers and what they are doing about that. The announced a new plane to help with enforcing the law through observation.  Chief Thum also talked about the hiring efforts the police are making and what younger people should do if they want to be a police officer.
