Connor and Ella welcome Matilda to the Thursday crew for a very eventful August 20th! They celebrate all kinds of days today:

• National Chocolate Pecan Pie Day, for which the team take a quiz to find out which pie flavour they are;
• National Bacon Lovers Day, for which Connor gets Matilda and Ella to blind-rank five crazy food combos involving bacon;
• International Hawaiian Pizza Day, which sparks a discussion about controversial food takes
• A24's 14th anniversary and One Direction: This Is Us' 13th anniversary (unrelated to one another, unfortunately!)
• Demi Lovato, Amy Adams, and Fred Durst's birthdays

To cap it off, it's also National Radio Day (the most important day of all as radio presenters!) Connor chats to Anika Luna, host of Triple J's Home and Hosed and former SYN alum, about the importance of community radio to the local music scene and her fond memories of volunteering at SYN!
