Rain is essential to life, and yet God promised a land inheritance that gets very little rain and promised that it would be very fruitful. However, God put His people in the land we know as Israel to ensure they would always have to trust Him for their survival. That's the topic of conversation today on Foundations.

On Foundations we're going to spend a couple of programs learning about the beautiful golden candelabra that is the official symbol of the State of Israel. It's called the Menorah, and was the only source of light in the Holy Temple. We'll look at its purpose and also what it symbolises.
