Katie Jayne is a rising country music artist and an early rising breakfast radio personality, but somehow she manages to fit a Food Bytes appearance into her full-on schedule.

When not belting our original songs live on stage across the country or waking up the good folk of Muswellbrook on her Power FM radio show, Katie Jayne occassionally wanders into the kitchen to whip up delicious healthy meals. She made the decision to give up the grog a few years back and takes us through that experience and the impact on and off stage, including her new project: an album of drinking songs about NOT drinking.    

The Food Poll this week has no meat, just potatoes. It's the complete hot chip conundrum: Would you choose crinkle cut, shoestring fries or thick cut chips?

Their life together is one big food-filled adventure. We delve into what they grew up eating, what is on the table now and who is the boss in the Feildel kitchen. 

You will be introduced to a new cuisine: 'Frasian.'

Conor Curran is back, and he's brought his fabulous cookbook 'Eat More Greek' (Murdoch Books) along with him.

While the name Conor Curran does not appear very Greek, growing up, his grandma - better known as YiaYia - helped shape his culinary choices.

Conor shares some of his favourites dishes from childhood and from the book, plus we revisit his MasterChef experience. In the five years since we spoke, Conor has built a big following on social media and honing his skills as a mixologist. We get the rundown on some special Greek-style cocktails.  

We are not raising the bar this week for the Food Poll, we are opening it to ask whether your preference is red or white wine.
