Welcome to the '5th Thing' with Amy & Kat!! Today’s quote is: “just keep swimming…just keep swimming” from Dory in Finding Nemo (a listener, Chelsea, included this quote in their email and we love it!) Amy actually had to apply the “just keep swimming” motto during an interview she recently did with Dr. Becky Kennedy…something embarrassing happened and Amy was mortified…but she had to just keep trucking along (she was geeking out to even be chatting with @DrBeckyAtGoodInside - IYKYK!!!) Amy’s interview with Dr. Becky will air mid-September FYI for those of you that are also excited about it. Then, Amy & Kat dove into some emails: one from Ithzel (a listener that was diagnosed with cancer) updating us that she will be able to pursue her dream more of becoming a CRNA. Chelsea’s email about grieving a miscarrage…we know this is an email that someone else out there needs to hear because it’s never selfish to take the time to grieve and do what you need to do for yourself!! They also discuss Amy doing a ‘4 Things Live’ event and filming an episode of ‘Building Roots’ (Amy’s sister’s show on HGTV!!)
