So when your kid says another kid was mean, often after a bit of investigation, you find out that it was either a misunderstanding or a one off event. But sometimes, kids can be deliberately mean. A kick, a shove - name calling. What do you do then? Dana Kerford is the Founder or U R Strong, an organisation helping children have healthy friendships. Dana doesn't believe that any child is inherently mean - though she knows that some kids can be 'mean on purpose'. In this interview she gives us some practical tips on how to help our children deal with them.
