Today, Dr Magwegwe wants to start the show with a personal story. Earlier today, as he was driving to a meeting he used Waze for directions. Now, Dr Maggs trust Waze most of the time, but today,on three occassions he ignored its instructions because he thought he knew better. And guess what? H ended up at the wrong place. It made him reflect on how often we think we’re on the right track in life, particularly with our finances, only to realize too late that we have missed crucial signs. How often do we ignore advice or guidance, even when it’s leading us in the right direction?

Tonight, we’re going to talk about how this applies to your finances. How often do we think we’re making the right financial decisions but miss the signs that we’re heading for trouble? And why is it sometimes so hard to follow advice, even when it’s clear it could help us avoid financial mistakes?"
