Many men won't go to the doctors for mental help unless their wives or girlfriends make an appointment to schedule it. This shows that society needs to do a better job at taking most of the stigmas and pressures off of men to realize that their bodies and mental health wellness are just as important as anybody else's. Men need to understand this as some form of self-love, and self-care.
Join the conversation with Jillian Henderson as we talk about everything about men’s mental wellness. Jillian is a licensed clinical social worker in mental health every day. She is also a licensed addiction counselor, holding a mental health professional counseling credential in the state of Montana. She currently works for Western Montana Mental Health Center, the largest agency that provides Community Mental Health to people in northwestern Montana. Her role there is a clinical supervisor, having worked in this field since 2009. Let’s grow our men stronger together.
