Human Settlements Minister, Thembi Simelane has clarified the government's stance on housing allocations, stating that beneficiaries cannot receive multiple state-funded houses across different provinces. This comes amid rising concerns over cross-provincial housing applications, especially between Gauteng and the Western Cape. The Minister emphasized that the government’s housing system must ensure fairness, prevent duplication, and prioritize those still on the waiting list.
