Guest: Collen Msibi | Spokesperson of the Department of Transport
Driving licences could soon no longer be accepted as general identification under proposed amendments to road traffic regulations. The Department of Transport says the changes aim to prevent the misuse of traffic register numbers and ensure road traffic documents are used for their intended purpose. Africa Melane speaks to Department of Transport spokesperson Collen Msibi about what the proposals mean for the public, foreign nationals and institutions such as banks and airports.
