This tangy and creamy Key Lime Pie is the perfect dessert for any occasion. With its buttery graham cracker crust and smooth lime filling, this dessert is sure to impress your guests.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups (150 g) graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup (50 g) granulated sugar
  • 6 tbsp (85 g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • 1 can (14 oz or 397 g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) key lime juice
  • 1 tbsp (15 g) lime zest
  • Whipped cream and lime slices, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch (23 cm) pie dish.
  3. Bake the crust for 10 minutes or until lightly golden brown. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk the egg yolks until pale and creamy.
  5. Add the sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, and lime zest. Whisk until well combined.
  6. Pour the mixture into the cooled crust.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes or until set.
  8. Let the pie cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  9. Serve chilled with whipped cream and lime slices.

Metric sizing:

  • 150 g graham cracker crumbs
  • 50 g granulated sugar
  • 85 g unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • 1 can (14 oz or 397 g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 120 ml key lime juice
  • 15 g lime zest

Imperial sizing:

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • 1 can (14 oz or 397 g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup key lime juice
  • 1 tbsp lime zest
