Dr. Niki Elliott, a clinical professor and director of the Center for Embodied Equity and Neurodiversity at the University of San Diego’s School of Leadership and Education Sciences and author of Heart-Centered Connections: Seven Essential Skills for Helping Neurodiverse and Marginalized Children Thrive, joins the podcast to discuss the importance of making space for those who are different than us – especially the children in our community.
Loving and caring for children living with neurodivergence requires a level of intentionality and self-awareness that is only now becoming mainstream.
